Pace operates both within metro areas and between major towns and cities in New Zealand. Availability depends on the pickup and delivery locations and the time of booking. Rural and remote areas are not usually covered by same day, but express overnight options are available through Interparcel.
Go to nz.interparcel.com, enter your pickup and delivery postcodes, parcel size and weight, and choose the date. If Pace is available, it will appear in your quote results. Select the service, complete the booking, print any required labels, and prepare the parcel for pickup. You’ll receive an Interparcel reference and any Pace tracking details once confirmed.
Pace specialises in urgent intra-city and same day deliveries, usually within business hours. Cut-off times, service windows, and weekend or after-hours availability vary by location. When you get a quote on Interparcel, you’ll see the earliest pickup window and estimated delivery time for Pace, along with any surcharges for after-hours or rural areas if they apply.
Pace does not usually operate on New Zealand public holidays. Bookings made on a public holiday will normally be collected on the next working day. For urgent time-critical freight around holiday periods, check availability when quoting at nz.interparcel.com or contact our support team.
Use your Interparcel reference on the Tracking page at nz.interparcel.com to see real-time updates. If a Pace consignment number is issued, it will appear in your order details and emails, and you can also track it on the Pace or NZ Post tracking site. Delivery notifications, proof of delivery, and signature details will appear as provided by the courier.
Standard parcels, satchels, and cartons are accepted, provided they’re well packed and within size and weight limits. Dangerous goods, prohibited items, and temperature-controlled or perishable freight are generally not accepted. Check our Prohibited and Restricted Items list during booking, and contact us before sending fragile or urgent items to confirm if Pace is suitable.
Yes. Limits vary by route and the type of vehicle used by Pace. As a guide, smaller courier-sized items are accepted, while oversized or very heavy freight may require a different service. When you enter accurate dimensions and weight on Interparcel, the system will validate your parcel and show which Pace services are available, including any surcharges if special handling is needed.
